``sdds`` is a library for reading and writing capabilities for `SDDS files <https://ops.aps.anl.gov/SDDSIntroTalk/slides.html>`_ used at `CERN <https://home.cern/>`_.

It provides a high-level object called `SddsFile` to do so, with attributes corresponding to the self-describing data sets `format <https://ops.aps.anl.gov/manuals/SDDStoolkit/SDDStoolkitsu2.html>`_.
